Little Monsters is an animated adventure featuring cute characters and an interesting plot. It's a family movie for all but the youngest of viewers, with parental guidance recommended for children aged 5-7 years.

Origin. While working on her second album, Gaga developed the theme of monster, both in physical form, and to describe her inner fear (Monster of death, alcohol, drugs, etc.). During the summer of 2009, she first started to use the name during her live performances to refer her fans.

The crime in this film takes place in America and although it uses many of the main facts of the Bulger murder (the film version of the murder isn't actually as violent as the actual crime), it is truly a fictional story of what the 18-year-old men did after being released from jail. The film itself feels low budget.

For Little Monsters, Mandel had to spend four hours a day in the make-up chair to transform into Maurice, a monster who befriends human kid Brian, played by '80s child actor icon Fred Savage (The Wonder Years, The Princess Bride).
