So unbelievable—the Rockies did everything possible to give the Padres the game—walk, after walk and the Friars couldn’t get it done. All they needed were a couple of base hits—couldn’t do the small things.

Thinking about it, that might be the worst loss of the season for the Padres. Against an awful team that was BEGGING you to take the win. And they couldn't. Manny GIDP to end it was the cherry on top. He's got to step up in that spot.
