The Value in Using VERO Depends on Your Goals You may find great value in connecting, posting your images, and looking at other photographers' art. But if you want to be networking with prospective clients, marketing your business, or connecting with anyone other than photographers, Vero will fall short for you.

VERO has been around since 2015, so it's no longer brand new to the market, but it's much younger than Instagram (initial launch here was in October 2010). As of 2022 (and that may well change in the future), VERO does two basic things differently: the feed is sorted chronologically and there are no ads yet.

Join VERO as a Founding Member now, and your Membership is free for life. We don't use your personal data to make money, so you won't see ads. Select an audience of close friends, friends, acquaintances or public for each post. A recommendation from someone you know beats an algorithm any day.

Better feed curation Unlike IG (that shoots whatever content at you it thinks you like via its algorithm), Vero shows content from accounts you follow in chronological order. There are also videos being posted to Vero. However, unlike some other social platform, I don't get “suggested reels” stuffed in my face.
