Recall the "process" (which, I know, is nothing more than a corporate buzzword), if it's actually a thing, was an admitted failure at last year's season-ending press conference. This front office, after 8 years, sat there and admitted it didn't know how to speak to players.

The general manager needs to go. It's eight months too late. But, now, it's time. Also, as has happened with the Maple Leafs, the spotlight (and view of) the President needs to come more into focus.

When they made the comeback, they needed to hold it. Not just for the win, which was necessary, but so that the goalpost movers couldn't fall back on the "they didn't quit" crap. Now there's an L and a whole lot of "they didn't quit" from the goalpost movers.
