A line of thunderstorms is expected to move to the southeast this morning. Although some hail and heavy rainfall are expected, damaging winds may become the primary hazard. #okwx

Slow moving storms will produce torrential rainfall across parts of central into southeast OK this morning. Some flooding will likely occur with this activity. #okwx

1 AM - A line of strong storms are currently moving across portions of central and east central Oklahoma. Small hail, gusty winds, and torrential rainfall are all possible. Flash flooding is the main threat at this time. #okwx

We aren't quite done with the severe weather chances later tonight. Severe storms could develop across central Oklahoma overnight tonight with large hail and damaging winds as the main hazards. These storms will eventually move towards the south-southeast. #okwx #txwx

Storms across southeast Oklahoma will pose a wind risk through 5 am, before moving southeast out of the area. Heavy rainfall will also occur with these storms. #okwx

Storms are accelerating to the southeast and the strongest storms will pose a risk of damaging wind gusts. Heavy rainfall will also continue to occur. #okwx

10:50 PM - Although current storms that have initiated have struggled to hold together, we are still anticipating that storms will get their act together over the next 1-2 hours across central Oklahoma. Large hail and damaging winds are the main hazards. #okwx

A Flood Watch is in effect for portions of central, southern, and western Oklahoma, and western north Texas until 4 AM. These locations could see over an inch of rainfall through the overnight hours, on top of what has already fallen today. #okwx #txwx

We made it to 100! Not exactly a milestone to celebrate but the latest tornado count for the state of Oklahoma is at 100. This is more than twice the Jan-May average of 41. The 2024 tornado count will grow as we continue to investigate tornadoes from April and May. #okwx
