11:15pm All quiet now, but 100 miles or so west of us more t'storms are moving in. Expect them to arrive shortly after 1am, with the potential for 50mph wind gusts, small hail, frequent lightning & flooding concerns. These storms should exit the metro between 3-4am.

Highs ended up being below average today due to cloudy skies and a bit of rainfall. Areas in north MS received severe storms, while the city and neighboring TN counties ended up being mostly dry this afternoon. Storms return overnight. /LN

A Flood Watch has been issued for the entire Mid-South now through 7AM Monday. Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are anticipated this weekend, which will further aggravate rivers and streams. If you see a flooded roadway, turn around!
