Although not portrayed in the film, Melvin Earl Combs - the father of music producer Sean "Puffy" Combs - was Frank Lucas' driver (much like Frank Lucas was Bumby Johnson's driver). At age 33, Melvin was shot to death while sitting in his car on New York's Central Park West, when Sean was two years old.
