Remember: Every player on that UConn squad will have a 30-day window to transfer if Dan Hurley joins the Lakers. And if that happens, well, I’m not sure we’ve seen anything like that in the CBB transfer portal era involving a potential preseason No. 1 squad.

The Hurley news makes me wonder what’s going on with JJ Redick, who seemed to have the inside track for the Lakers job. If Hurley decides to make the jump, I’d be curious to see if Redick would be open to joining him on the bench as an assistant.
