[2:50 PM] Isolated to scattered showers, with perhaps a rumble of thunder, continue to move generally N to S through the local area. Gusty winds to 30-35 MPH and some small hail will be possible in the strongest storms, but the overall severe threat is low.

[8:20 PM] Local radar this evening shows a few isolated showers/storms lingering about the area, with some brief downpours & very small hail possible in the strongest activity. There will be a decrease in coverage thru late evening, but a stray shower may continue thru midnight.

A midlevel disturbance will interact with a cool, unstable airmass to bring showers and thunderstorms to much of the region, mainly this afternoon and evening. Drier weather will arrive on Thursday with cooler than normal temperatures persisting.

[12:13 AM] Line of storms moving east through the area. Wind gusts up to 45 MPH possible.

[10:56 PM] Numerous reports of 1/4-1/2 inch hail with some of these storms.

[10:05 PM] Strong storm producing hail moving east into Mercer County.

Hoping things stay quiet on the tornado front for a while, but with another tornado in Jackson County, Ohio on Sunday, the total for the state this year has climbed to 58 - only exceeded by 2023 and 1992. The average is 21. 🌪 @Local12

After drying out the next couple of days in #Cincinnati, our next big weathermaker doesn't arrive until late Saturday and into Sunday bringing more showers and thunderstorms back to the area. As of now, the chances for any severe weather are looking low. ⛈ @Local12
